Fairy, in Branchville, S. C., Mrs. Elizabeth Rigby. Our departed sister was born in Colleton County, S. C., on the 27th September A. D. 1807. Her maiden name was Hussey. of her mother's children, only one survives, Mr. John Hussey, who resides in Mississippi. She was married twice-- first, to Mr. John Grimes, of Orangeburg County, S. C., and secondly to Mr. William Rigby, of Colleton, S. C. By the first marriage she was the mother of three children-- all girls, two of whom are still living: Mrs. Howell and Mrs. Fairy. By the second, she had five children, one daughter and four sons. Two of the boys preceded their father and mother to the spirit word.
